Hairtrix состоит из двух независимых плагинов, hairfx и Ornatrix, которые теперь могут быть использованы вместе для  создания удивительных эфектов волос и меха. Оба Ornatrix и hairfx являются проверенными в производстве инструментами по созданию и анимации волос и меха в 3ds Max и предоставляют пользователю большое количество инструментов для этого.
